We are thrilled to share the successful completion of our Digital Demand Collection Training, held in Jimma City from March 21-24, 2025. Digital Demand Collection Training, delivered to soil fertility departments and youth participants for Jimma (March 21-22) and Bunno Bedelle (March 23-24) This program equipped participants with essential digital tools to modernize agricultural data collection and intensive program empowered agricultural professionals and youth participants with critical digital skills to revolutionize data collection in their communities.

– Uniform Training Content:
* Identical curriculum delivered to both Zone
* Focused on mobile-based data collection techniques
✔ Participant Reach:
– Trained 17 soil fertility experts per location
– Engaged 12 pre-selected youth per zone (all with compatible devices)
✔ Key Outcomes:
– Provided 20 Android smartphones to soil fertility departments for field data collection
– Conducted hands-on sessions in mobile-based demand aggregation techniques
– Successfully implemented our pilot phase with measurable results

* Develop localized digital toolkits for rural communities
* Establish a mentorship program between trained youth and farmers
* Digital Mentorship Program: Pairing trained youth with farmers
* Progress Monitoring: Tracking field implementation through collected data
